Neapolitan in Disney Comics
Following the volume dedicated to Milanese and the one dedicated to Romanesco, here is a release dedicated to promoting the Neapolitan dialect in Disney comics. The volume features the story Uncle Scrooge and the P.d.P. 6000, with dialogue in Neapolitan (famous for being published in the first round of Topolino releases created for the 2025 National Dialect and Local Languages Day), and a second adventure with an unprecedented translation also entrusted to university professors and linguistics specialists, Uncle Scrooge and the Neapolitan Butler. Both stories present pages with parallel Italian text. The volume is enriched with editorial insights into languages and dialects, Campania in comic stories, and local folklore. Includes an author's preface.
