The unpublished illustrations are by Fabio Celoni, who describes his work as follows: Mickey Mouse remains by far the most difficult character to draw, not just within the Disney universe. He apparently seems the simplest, so round, regular... in short, it looks really easy! But it's exactly the opposite; it's the perfection of his forms that demands equal perfection from the artist. For the rest, all Disney characters are splendid, but I have a special relationship with Scrooge.
