🎤 Caparezza and the Secret Mission at Lucca Comics: The Comic You Didn't Expect!
Who would have ever thought that Caparezza , the genius of Italian music with his sharp rhymes and unruly hair, would also conquer the world of comics?
And yet it happened. And it did so in grand style, at Lucca Comics & Games 2025 , together with one of the publishing houses most loved by fans: Sergio Bonelli Editore .
🚀 A double twist: album + comic
The project is called “Orbit Orbit” , and it’s not just an album: it’s a narrative universe .
Caparezza wrote his own comic , published by Bonelli, and accompanied it with a new album of the same name , released on October 31, 2025.
Music and comics merge into a single experience, a journey through sounds, drawings, and reflections on the power of imagination.
💥 A collaboration out of orbit
In the comic Orbit Orbit , Caparezza becomes narrator and scriptwriter, accompanied by a team of exceptional artists:
Matteo De Longis (cover), Sergio Gerasi , Nicola Mari , Riccardo Torti , Renato Riccio , Stefano Tamiazzo , La Came and Yi Yang .
A cast that mixes Bonelli's best talents with the surreal vision of the Apulian rapper.
The story? A journey through planets and alternate realities where fantasy becomes the only way to survive.
Not by chance, Caparezza describes it as “ a story about imagination as the ultimate form of freedom ”.
Lucca Comics 2025: A Record-Breaking Debut
The Orbit Orbit box set was previewed at Lucca Comics , and sold out in less than 48 hours.
The copies with vinyl and comics disappeared from the Bonelli stands, while Caparezza signed autographs surrounded by enthusiastic fans.
And after a few days, the album debuted at first place in the FIMI/Nielsen chart : a total success, musically and editorially.
🌌 A project that changes the rules
This collaboration is much more than a publicity stunt.
It is the symbol of a new frontier: when music meets comics, a new artistic language is born .
Bonelli, the historic home of Tex , Dylan Dog and Nathan Never , once again demonstrates its ability to innovate, transforming a crazy idea into a pop phenomenon.
🔍 Curiosities that (maybe) you didn't know
- There is a deluxe version of the comic with 16 extra pages and an exclusive interview with Caparezza.
- The comic includes hidden references and homages to Nathan Never and other Bonelli classics.
- Each chapter is inspired by a song from the album, creating a perfect synchrony between music and drawing .

🧩 The future is cross-media
With Orbit Orbit , Caparezza and Bonelli have opened a new creative portal.
And who knows, maybe we'll soon see other artists follow in this footsteps—merging notes and clouds, vinyl records and cartoons.
👉 And you, are you ready to leave for the Caparezza Orbit?
The comic is already a collector's item, and the album… a soundtrack for those who love to dream with their mind and eyes.
